Some links on Petoniki are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. This page explains what that means and what it does not change.
Our editorial standards are described on the About Us page.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link works like any other link. The difference is that the shop records the visit as coming from Petoniki, and pays us a commission if you buy.
The commission comes from the seller, not from you.
Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links appear in our Product Guides, where we recommend specific products.
How affiliate links are marked
Wherever an affiliate link appears, the page says so, in the text around the link. You do not have to open a menu or another page to see it.
The price you pay
A commission never changes the price you pay. Products cost the same through our links as they do anywhere else.
What we recommend
A commission never decides what we recommend. Which products a guide covers, which ones it names and how we assess them are editorial decisions, and no partner gets a say in them.
